PHP stand for Personal Home Page in the beginning which provides simple scripting platform but nowadays it acronym as Hypertext Preprocessor and an alternate to Microsoft's Active Server Pages (ASP) Technology. It is an Open Source Technology which was actually developed by Danish Greenlander Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994. Although it is not a real programming language yet it provides open platform for scripting in web pages and made them dynamic and more interactive to any user. It is a powerful server side scripting language especially suited for web development can be easily embedded into HTML+CSS and may be combined with various template engines and web frameworks. Its structure modified by various languages C, C++, Perl, Java and even Python. It is processed by PHP interpreter which is implemented as server native modules or CGI executable files and available at free of cost by Free Software Solution released under the PHP License. After its execution web server gives output to client in various forms- HTML Page, an Image or some other data.
